Lizanne headed a project to teach young Dominican women how to do hair, where a beauty school was erected in her name. She is inspired to do better, be better every day.

As an artist, her medium has always been hair. Then she added Photography as an outlet for art and recently added painting and sculpting. You can see her work in Selkirk Manitoba were she displays her art on occasion at The Gwen Fox Art Gallery and on the outer walls of some of the buildings in the area. As a mural painter and fine art creator, expression is a way of life. She is learning that being an artist comes in many forms.
